Cody Rink is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) serving the Oil and Gas Industry. Cody attended Nicholls State University, where he received a degree in Petroleum Services Safety Technology. He then furthered his education at Columbia Southern University to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health. Through the years, he has maintained an impressive path by obtaining numerous qualifications and certifications. He maintains multiple credentials by the Board of Certified Safety such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Safety Management Specialist (SMS) and Associate Safety Professional (ASP). He also holds credentials such as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Environmental and Safety Compliance Officer, Professional in Human Resources and other various emergency response certificates.
He currently serves as the Health, Safety, and Environmental / Human Resource Manager of New Industries, LLC. Prior to working at New Industries, Cody worked as a safety professional in the oil field fabrication industry. He has been involved with numerous topside and substructure fabrication projects, various subsea equipment fabrication projects, and installation projects.
Cody also serves as a volunteer fire chief outside of his full-time occupation. In addition, Cody owns a relatively successful consulting and training company. In his free time Cody enjoys fishing, hunting, and simply enjoying the outdoors.
